🌾 Our Story: The Heart Behind Sand & Soul Oasis

Sand & Soul Oasis started as a dream I could feel before I could name it — a picture in my mind of the life I wanted for my son, my land, and my community. It wasn’t the version the world was offering, so I knew I’d have to help create it.

When I became a mother to a neurodivergent child, that dream shifted into a mission. I went searching for ways to meet my son exactly where he is — through inclusion, alternative education, and healing rooted in nature. Along the way, I found others — farmers, healers, and educators — who believe, like I do, that hands-on, nature-based learning has the power to transform lives.

I grew up with a respect for the land — knowing food, water, and the natural world aren’t just “resources,” they’re partners in our well-being. That belief has led me toward regenerative agriculture, where caring for the earth and nourishing the soul are the same act.

Camel milk, gut health, and land stewardship became part of my own healing journey. Over time, those threads — agriculture, wellness, and education — began weaving into the vision for Sand & Soul Oasis.

We’re still in the building stage, planting the seeds for a place where children of all abilities can learn from the land, where food and community grow together, and where wellness is part of the soil itself.

🌱 The vision is alive, the work is underway, and the best is still ahead.

Our core values

Our Core Values

At Sand & Soul Oasis, our values shape everything we do — from the way we farm to how we teach.

  1. Regeneration Over Extraction
We care for the land to leave it better for the next generation. Our methods build healthy soil, conserve water, and protect biodiversity — principles we also bring into education, where curiosity and resilience thrive.
  2. Radical Inclusion & Accessibility
We meet people where they are — from neurodivergent learners to families seeking clean food. In both farming and education, we adapt to the needs of each person, not the other way around.
  3. Healing from the Ground Up
We believe food is medicine. Our approach connects gut health, mental clarity, and learning potential, blending agriculture with nature-based, hands-on experiences for whole-body wellness.
  4. Nature as the First Teacher
Our farm is a living classroom where lessons in biology, stewardship, and creativity happen in real time.

If Sand & Soul Oasis could leave one lasting impression, it would be this: That healing — of people, land, and community — is possible when we return to our roots. That a child’s potential blooms when they are met with patience, nourishment, and the freedom to learn through nature. That a farm can be more than a place that grows food — it can grow connection, resilience, and hope.

We want every visitor, student, and family to leave knowing they are part of something living, lasting, and bigger than themselves… and that they, too, carry the power to plant seeds of change. 🌱
